The Essential Guide to Clear Skin
Hello Everyone! I always get complimented on my skin, and they also ask "how do get such clear skin." First of all let me say my skin is not totally clear, I also do break out everyone does. So I am going to share with you on how I try to maintain a clear skin. so let's get started.
- Water: The reason I am saying water is because it's something we need like air. The question is are you drinking your 8 glasses of water a day. The reason why is because water flushes out the toxins in your body which cleanses your body inside to the outside. I recommend switching your soda or juice to water.
- Sleep: I can not stress on how much sleep is important to our skin. It allows the cells to renew and regenerate itself. Also if you get enough sleep, it reduces your stress levels in your life which means hormones won't be all over the place. If you don't get enough sleep your skin will appear/look dull and dry and cause breakouts. I recommend 8 hours of sleep, its called beauty sleep for a reason.
-
Hygiene: Let me start off saying it's a good thing that you cleanse your face in the morning and the night to remove the dirt and the oil. We forget about the time in between like talking on our cell phone, sleeping on a dirty pillow, and sleeping with dirty hair. I always try to wash my hair every night before I go to bed, because I don't want the styling products (oils)to transfer to my pillow for to it cause breakouts. I recommend to try to keep your hair clean, change pillow cases, and clean cell phone with baby wipes.
-
Diet: Your skin is an indication of your health. Lots of food with high antioxidant are good for you. Eat foods more like strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, grapes, tomatoes, lemons, and etc. Lemon is good to detox the body, with a glass of water add lemon slices which will improve your skin. Try to minimize food that are high on fats. Not just talking about diets it is about exercise as well, You also cleanse your body too. This holiday season was complete failure for me... Like on christmas time with all those sweets.

Moisturizer: It is very important you find a good moisturizer for your skin type. I always go with oil free, but if you have sensitive skin try to get gel formulas instead.
