Saying Goodbye To A Decade

Hello everyone! This new blog post is saying goodbye to a decade. Reflecting on these years made me realize how much I have grown as a person.  

2009

In 2009 I was in high school,it was half of my freshman year. I lost some friends this year but made me realize it was for the good. It thought me friends come and go. Also this year I realized that liking a friend's ex-boyfriend and hanging out with him can damage a close friendship. I am aware now as a adult this was my fault. In the picture above I was in science class just taking pictures with my friend. Yeah, I am rocking a Taylor Swift shirt.

2010

2010 was in an interesting year. That was me studying in culinary arts with a friend of mine. This year I joined color guard. Color guard is part of the marching band. I was one of those people on the field with a colorful flag and dancing. I am still not ready to share those photos. This year I got a boyfriend and lost a friend. I never knew that she liked him as well. She started talking and spread rumors about me with her new group of friends. I got bullied for dating this guy. This so called friend had her new friends try to jump me. I learned that every one is not nice or friendly as they pretend be. In the end this was a rough year for me after dating this guy I lost lots of friends because of that one friend. She told people lies about me and they believed them.  

2011

In 2011 I got my friend and his name is Sodapop. I love him very much, he is my old man. I went blonde as well. This year is when my high school life got better. I was still in color guard and enjoyed performing with the band. I met my two good friends this year that I am still friends with now. This year was was drama free from friends to boys. This is the year I lost my grandpa Bozo. He was my last grandparent here in the United States, I miss him everyday, I will love to hear his voice again. 

2012

This was my senior of high school. I loved it and enjoyed every moment of it. In this picture I was at a school basketball game. All I have to say is no problems this year. I graduated high school and started college.

2013

I was in college and enjoying the freedom of it. I loved how I didn't have to ask permission to use the restroom. In this photo a classmate braided my hair. I liked how I never got to see people from high school anymore. This year in November I fell in love with the girl group called Little Mix, Anyone that knows me know that they are my favorite artist. 

2014

I don't really remember 2014 very much. All I know I was in college enjoying life. Wait I just remembered I started my blog. So you guys enjoy this photo from 2014.

2015

Like I said before I really don't remember this year but wait I remember every moment babysitting this girl. That's all that matters. This made a special bond between us. She is always protecting me, When I got a boyfriend in 2018 she wasn't too happy about it. She will always be my # 1. 

2016

In 2016 I finally learned how to take the perfect selfie. I learned which are my best angles, Also this year I became more close to my sister and my best cousin. I thank god everyday for that. That's when the formation of the Beehive officially started. Also I started my weight loss journey. 

2017

In 2017 is when I first got my first official job at a christian school. My weight loss journey was on point. Also attending the women's march since we got the worst president ever. I had show that I stand for my body my choice.

2018

In 2018 I graduated from the medical assistant program. I got a job in the nurse's office in public schools. I also went blonde again and I loved it, Most important I got myself a boyfriend, Just a little info I had a crush on him my junior of high school. He is joy to have in my life.

2019

This year was the most fun for me, I went to California in summer every year since 2017. I loved this year, I got closer to family and my friends. Also this year I celebrated my one year anniversary with my boyfriend. I cooked an entire thanksgiving dinner minus the potatoes. Shout out to my cousin who made them and prepped the turkey, A big shout to my sister for baking the Turkey when I was at my boyfriend's house.

This blog has made me realize that this decade helped formed me to the person I am today, I really enjoyed it. I am thankful for every beautiful memories and every tear shed. I am ready to start 2020 and make it the best year of my life. Follow me on my IG for you can see my new year goals.
