Healthy Food Swaps
Yes it's that time of year that everyone is trying to eat healthy. When I was losing weight I swapped some food/snacks for a healthier choice. I hope you guys enjoy this blog post. :)
Swap soda For water
I was literally obsessed with soda and I still I'm. I try to stay away from it. It took a long time to get used to drinking only water. The good thing is that there is no empty calories.
Swap white potato for sweet potato
I am major fan of potatoes in general. When I first tried sweet mashed potatoes it was the best thing ever. Sweet potatoes give more fiber and has lots of vitamin A.
Swap chips for popcorn
I usually go for the Skinny Girl popcorn. Popcorn isn't greasy or fattening as chips. I would recommend the white cheddar popcorn from the brand Skinny Girl.
Swap white rice for brown rice
Brown rice gives you more fiber and you slower release energy. That means you gives you more energy throughout the entire day.
Swap tortilla for lettuce leaves for tacos
This swap wasn't hard for me because I am not a huge fan or tortillas. You will be eating less carbs.
