How to de-stress?
Hello, I just wanted to make this blog about stress. Its alright to feel stress, it's very natural but you can't feel stress all the time. For example a phone needs a break, we have charge our phones they don't run on forever. If a phone needs a break imagine us. We need to make some time for "me" time and just relax.

Let me give you a view of stress in my life. I am 21 years old, and many people think I have a relaxed life with no stress. Yes I understand I do not work or even worked a day in my life. I know I will never understand the stress that working class people go through. I shocked and amazed how working people deal with it, and they are the strong people. My type of stress is from college, I am a nursing major.

No one understands the pressure it is to become a nurse. All my science classes consume my time, it gets to the point that I am only studying for that one class and forget about my other classes. It has gotten to the point that I find myself doing homework for other classes not up to my potential. I have reached that breaking point where I cry from studying so much, or when I don't understand a certain topic in science. It seems that no matter how hard I try and push myself it still isn't good enough for the nursing program. I have to re take like two classes to get a higher grade. I just find myself thinking anywhere in the shower, the car, the way to school if I am ever going to be a nurse, its constantly in the back of my head I am not going to get in or good enough. My stress is school. So let me tell you some ways I de-stress.
Ways to de-stress
- The first thing is turn off you phone for about an hour to three hours. There is pressure to always to be on, but there nothing wrong turning it off. I admit I'm guilty of always being on my phone, it took a while to teach myself to disconnect from the digital world. Just think of it as digital detox.
- Take a hot bath, add some bubbles. Sometimes we forget or too busy to take care of ourselves. With the right music or music sounds and oils you can turn your bathroom into a spa. I use this app called deep relax. The three sounds I like to add together are the ocean, guitar, and rain. The sound of the ocean and rain makes me happy and the sound of the guitar just makes me relaxed and calm.
- If you are not much of a bath person, hot water can play an important role. Like tea, hot water with lemon can sooth stress way.
- Make time for fun, which can be reading, playing games, and many more. I love to read, watching my favorite tv shows that make me forget about my stress.
5. Do something you love, do what your passionate for. I love to put on makeup, drawing, and dancing. If you have not found a passionate then take this time to find it and don't be discouraged if you not good at the first time. You will never know what you love until you give it a try.
